#  Outgoing Loan Agreement 

 



The [Outgoing Loan Agreement](https://harvardwiki.atlassian.net/wiki/download/attachments/149127935/Outgoing%20Loan%20Agreement%202014-07-10.docx?version=1&modificationDate=1734113791418&cacheVersion=1&api=v2) is a standard agreement between a Harvard library and another campus location or external institution. It should be used when another campus location or external institution is borrowing a work from a Harvard library. Outgoing loans should be conducted on an institution-to-institution basis; therefore, the Outgoing Loan Agreement should not be used for loans to private individuals. All conditions outlined in the agreement have been approved by Harvard's [Risk Financing and Insurance](http://rmas.fad.harvard.edu/rmas-functional-areas/risk-financing-and-insurance) department and [Office of the General Counsel](http://ogc.harvard.edu/). Because the agreement contains sensitive information, access to this form is HUID PIN protected.
